This is not due to a bug in CT_Core. The error does not occur when CT_Core is the only addon loaded. However, this error is occuring for you because of interference from the "Chinchilla" addon that is loaded.

If any addon tries to change the position of the Objectives window (ie. the "WatchFrame"), Chinchilla prevents them from doing so by moving the window back to where Chinchilla wants the window to be. It also does this for a few other frames that are normally positioned near the minimap, such as the durability frame and vehicle seat frame.

When CT_Core tried to reposition the WatchFrame, Chinchilla intercepted the attempt and moved the frame back. As a result, the window's anchor points were not where CT_Core expected them to be. When Blizzard's code in WatchFrame.lua was executed, the calculations failed and displayed the error message that you saw.

Any time you have two addons that try to manipulate the same object in the game, you may have these sorts of errors and issues. I included an option in CT_Core to allow you to disable the Objectives options for this very reason.

Currently the Objectives options are enabled by default in CT_Core. I prefer it that way, although I could change them so that they are disabled by default. That might help to avoid this sort of error from being caused by having other addons installed that also try to manipulate the Objectives window.

You can currently avoid this error using any one of the following methods:

a) By not using Chinchilla.

b) By disabling Chinchilla's "Position" module (type /chin, click on "Position" on the left side, then uncheck the "Enable" checkbox on the right side). By doing this you also disable the ability to move each of the items shown on that options page.

c) By not using CT_Core.

d) By disabling the Objectives options in CT_Core (type /ctcore, scroll down to the "Objectives" section, and uncheck the "Enable these options" checkbox).

Update:

The next version will allow CT_Core to position the Objectives window without allowing another addon to move it back unexpectedly. I have tested the new version with Chinchilla installed and with their Position module enabled, and the error no longer occurs.

There are however, still the problems that you'd expect when you have two addons that try to manipulate the same window. For example, if you disable or enable their Position module while CT_Core's Objectives options are also enabled, it will cause contents of the Objectives frame contents to become separated from CT_Core's movable Objectives window. The contents can be reconnected to CT_Core's window by disabling and then enabling the Objectives options in CT_Core.

What it comes down to in the end, is that if you have two addons that try to manipulate the same thing, you need to pick which one will be in control of the window and disable the other addon's ability to manipulate it.

In addition to the position blocking change I mentioned above, the new version will also allow CT_Core to remember whether the Objectives window was collapsed or expanded so that it can restore the window to that state when you login. I've also added a texture at the spot where you can resize the Objectives window when it is unlocked.

So dont blame it on other mods that works fine... when yours are not working as intended

Both addons work fine separately. Its only when they are both loaded at the same time that the problem arises.

CT_Core will work fine at the same time as the other one if you disable the new Objectives option in CT_Core, or disable the Positions module in Chinchilla.

I did say that I was making changes so that they could be used at the same time without causing an error message.
