Pre 3.3.5 I could hide the "Chat Options" button that is located on top of the chat window. It is distracting and in the way. Is there anyway I can hide the button?

Also, when I mouse over the chat windows it fades to black transparent, I like my chat windows to have no color and to be fully transparent so when there is no activity in the chat the fade off text function will render the chat windows invisible. Pre 3.3.5 I didn't have this issue.

I tried some /script mouse over alpha something but didn't get it too work.

If by "Chat options button" you are referring to the button with a yellow speech bubble on it, then yes it can be hidden using the "Hide chat buttons" option in the CT_Core options window.

If you want to hide the new "Friends" button that Blizzard introduced in 3.3.5, then that can be hidden by enabling the "Hide friends button" in the CT_Core options window.

To change the color of your chat window, just use the normal way of doing it...Right click on a chat table and change the "Background" color.

I am not referring to the button with a yellow speech bubble, that is on the side. I am referring to the button on top with says "Chat Options" when you mouseover it.

I have 100% transparency on my windows in background color, before the update the windows would always be fully transparent when they were locked. But now even while the windows is set to locked, when i mouseover they turn slightly black (or whatever color I have set). I dont want them to fade in and out whenever i Mouseover them, I want them to be fully transparent all the time.

Thanks for the reply.

The only time I see "Chat options" is in the tooltip that appears when I move the mouse over one of the chat tabs ("General", "Combat", etc) at the top of a chat frame. There are some new options in CT_Core that will let you change the opacity of the chat tabs when your mouse is over and not over the tabs.

The background color changing when you mouseover it is not being caused by CT_Core. If you disable CT_Core you'll see that it still happens with the default UI. I may be able to add some options to give you some control over it.

Ok nice, thanks. Now the general and combat log is hidden aswell as the grey bar on combat log window.
But the windows themselves still fade into color when mouseover.
Hope a function for this will be implemented.
thx
