Have you tried disabling all of your other addons yet? There may be something causing a problem when your other addons and the ctmod addons are enabled at the same time.

Are you playing on an official Blizzard server, or a private server? Some people play on private servers which may not be as up to date as the official servers (or they might have bugs), and current versions of addons may not work properly on private servers.

You stated that you have the lastest update. Did you download it from the ctmod web site, or are you using an updater program like WowMatrix? Did you check the version numbers listed in the ctmod control panel (type /ct while in the game)? I've seen some people who thought they had the latest update but actually didn't. The best way to check is to compare the version numbers shown when you type /ct with the version numbers on the ctmod website's downloads page.

Were you using the addons for a while and then they suddenly stopped working, or is this the first time you've ever used the addons?

CT_BuffMod does have a "reset options" button you could try (type /ct, click on CT_BuffMod, scroll down on the right side until you see the "reset options" button).

As a test, I deleted each addon's file containing saved settings in my SavedVariables folder, downloaded the addons directly from the ctmod web site and copied them to the game's addons folder. Then I logged into an existing character and I also created a new character. The only two addons that I had enabled were ct_mailmod and ct_buffmod. For both of those characters, I was able to see everything in the inbox and I was able to see my buffs in the ct_buffmod window.

You could try deleting the files in the SavedVariables folder for just those two addons (exit from the game before you delete the files). Doing so would completely reset all of the options and saved data for them. The two files you'd be looking for are called CT_BuffMod.lua and CT_MailMod.lua, and they are located in the following folder:
world of warcraft\wtf\account\<your_account_name>\SavedVariables

You could also try using the search feature of your operating system to search your hard drive(s) for any filenames containing CT_Mailmod or CT_Buffmod, and then delete the ones it finds. You would have to reinstall the two addons afterwards.

Also check to make sure that all of your CTMod addons are up to date, not just CT_Mailmod and CT_Buffmod. If one of your CTMod addons contains an out of date CT_Library.lua file then it could affect the other addons.

Did you download the addons and install them yourself, or did you use a program that checks for updates and installs them for you?

Are you using Windows Vista?

Have you had Vista for a while, or did you recently upgrade your computer from XP to Vista?

Since you're using Windows Vista, have a look at this thread on the WoW UI forum to see if anything might be helpful:
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=6757867106&sid=1

It is possible that you have more than one set of addon or saved variables folders, and if so then that might be causing some issues. The thread I mentioned above talks about where to look in Vista for the game's addons and wtf folders. If you find more than one set of addons and/or wtf folders, then you should get rid of the ones that you don't need. Which ones you need depends on where WoW is installed. The Vista thread talks more about this.
