You may have both the game's default action bars and the CT_BarMod action bars enabled. If you want to disable the game's default action bars, open the game's Interface options window, select ActionBars, and then disable the appropriate bars. If you want to disable the CT_BarMod bars type /ct, select CT_BarMod, and then disable the appropriate bars.

Also keep in mind that depending on your class, some of the bars (7 through 10) are used by the game when you change stances, shapeshift, etc. For example, if you are a shadow priest and you switch to shadowform, the game will display the buttons from bar 7 on your main action bar (when the main action bar is set to show page 1). While in shadowform, if you drag a spell to page 1 of your main action bar, it will also appear on bar 7.

Which bar are you adding actions to, which other bars do the actions appear on, and what class is your character? You can see the bar numbers when you open the CTMod Control panel (/ct) and select the CT_BarMod options.

My character is a driud, and the bars affected or that abilities go into as well as the action bar are numbers 7, 9 & 10. It makes no difference if I disable the action bar or not. But this causes the above listed bars to be unusable as I have to keep them turned off. If I put anything i nthem it changes my action bar for the associated shape.

You will see duplicate spells if you select a page on the main action bar that is using the same action numbers as a CT_BarMod bar that you have enabled. To avoid seeing both you will have to either not select that page on the main action bar, or disable the corresponding bar in CT_BarMod.

When you are in a form/stance and are displaying page 1 of the main action bar, the game will use 12 action numbers somewhere in the range 73 to 120. The actual numbers used depend on which form/stance you are in. Those action numbers correspond to the ones that CT_BarMod assigns to bars 7 through 10.

Classes that cannot change forms/stances will not see any duplicate spells because the main action bar will never use the same action numbers as CT_BarMod bars 7 through 10.

All classes will see duplicate spells if they are not in a form/stance, and they select page 1 through 6 of the main action bar, and they have CT_BarMod bars 1 through 6 enabled.

Below is a description of which action numbers are assigned to the various bars you will encounter in the game.

CT_BarMod allows you to display 10 different bars. The buttons on these bars are assigned the following action numbers by CT_BarMod:

Bar 1: actions 1 to 12
Bar 2: actions 13 to 24
Bar 3: actions 25 to 36
Bar 4: actions 37 to 48
Bar 5: actions 49 to 60
Bar 6: actions 61 to 72
Bar 7: actions 73 to 84
Bar 8: actions 85 to 96
Bar 9: actions 97 to 108
Bar 10: actions 109 to 120

The default UI allows you to display 4 different bars. The buttons on these bars are assigned the following action numbers by the game:

Bottom Left Bar: actions 61 to 72
Bottom Right Bar: actions 49 to 60
Right Bar: actions 25 to 36
Right Bar 2: actions 37 to 48

The default UI's main action bar consists of a single bar that contains 12 buttons. The main action bar can display 6 different pages of actions. You can change the action bar's page number by clicking the up/down arrows, or pressing Shift-1, Shift-2, etc. When you change the page number, the game assigns specific action numbers to each of the 12 buttons.

If you are not currently in a form/stance, the game assigns the following action numbers to the buttons on the main action bar:

Page 1: actions 1 to 12
Page 2: actions 13 to 24
Page 3: actions 25 to 36
Page 4: actions 37 to 48
Page 5: actions 49 to 60
Page 6: actions 61 to 72

When you are in a form/stance and page 1 of the main action bar has been selected, the game will assign action numbers that correspond to the type of form/stance you are currently in. Here are some examples (this is not a complete list of forms/stances):

Bear form: actions 73 to 84

Shadow form: actions 73 to 84

Battle stance: actions 73 to 84
Defensive stance: actions 85 to 96
