I have the latest update and fix. I noticed whenever I have the open bags at the mailbox feature enabled all the bags except the backpack (the first bag) doesn't open and I have to manually open that bag. Otherwise the guild back, bank and auction bags work. I don't have another mail mod installed.

My backpack and all 4 bags are opening ok for me when I open the mailbox. Have you tried disabling all addons except for CT_MailMod to see if it will work then?
The programming in CT_MailMod in fact does not open the backpack. However, it skipped it because the game normally opens the backpack on its own, so there wasn't a need for CT_MailMod to open it also. I can go back and deliberately make it open the backpack regardless of whether the game also opens it. That might help overcome whatever is causing your issue.
