I updated to CTCore version 3.309 today (March 31) and now when I mouse over anything my tooltips, are stuck at the top center of the screen. Selecting any option (on mouse, on anchor, standard) nor selecting any option under one those to change location does anything to change the position. I normally display the tooltip on the mouse and have had no problems prior to the lastest update. Also the Anchor Frame will not display even when the option is selected. I am going to revert back to CTCore versoin 3.308 for now since I never seemed to have the "health/mana" display problem that the update fixed. Last updated by Metotem

It is working ok for me, so it could be a conflict with an addon that I'm not using.
If you could, try disabling some of your addons while leaving CT_Core enabled, to see if the problem will go away. If it does, then one of the addons you disabled is affecting things, and I can then take a look at the addon to try and identify the conflict.
Or, if you could post a list of your addons, I'll download and install them myself, and try and duplicate what you're experiencing. If you don't have a way to get a list of your installed addons, there is a text file that you can copy and paste from which contains this information. You can find the file at the following location:
"World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<account_name>\<server_name>\<character_name>\AddOns.txt

I checked the AddOns.txt file and all it shows are the add-ons that are deactivated for the characters. I reinstalled CTCore version 3.308 and everything works correctly. I had updated BarMod, Core, MapMod, and PartyBuffs today along with Lightheaded. I reverted my UI to yesterdays copy before those were upgraded and the tooltip behavior works but as soon as I install CTCore 3.309, the tooltip is stuck at the top center of the screen again.
Here is a list of my addons along with their version numbers. All are updated to the latest version either from Curse or WoWInterface except for CT ones which I download from this site. I only run BugGrabber and/or Swatter only when I experience LUA errors. The ones with -- in front are only run a certain characters when needed for the character class.

I did a complete UI reset and tooltip behavior in CT mod works so it does look like it's interference with some other mod I'm using. I'll try to find out which one. Thanks for the help.

It seems the AddOns.txt file will only show addons that have been manually disabled or enabled. The one I looked at on my computer had all my addons listed, but that's because I had enabled/disabled them all at some time in the past. The list you provided is better anyway, since the AddOns.txt file does not include version numbers.
I installed all of the addons in your list, but I'm still not having any problems with the tooltip options in CT_Core (I tried default, on mouse, and on anchor). It could be that I need to configure something in one of the addons before the issue will appear. Let me know if you can narrow it down to a specific addon.

I noticed that too about the addon.txt flie. I went back and looked at a few old copies I had saved of my UIs and some of them had all the addons listed but the latest few only had the ones that were disabled. Guess Blizzard changed something ;).
I started over with a fresh default Blizzard UI with only CTMods that I use installed and everything was good. I then started installing all the other mods a few at a time until I had all of them reinstalled and setup on one character. None of them seemed to cause the problem so I'm beginning to think somewhere in one of the saved variable files of my old UI configurations something corrupted and was causing the problem. I was going to try copying the old savedvariable.lua files for each addon one at a time to try and figure it out but decided it would be quicker for me to just set them all up again on all my guys. Why it only started occurring after I updated to CTCore 3.309, I have no idea but everything is good now.
When I update any of my addons, I delete the old version from the Interface/AddOns folder rather than just copy over it and then move the new version into it but I usually do not delete any of the WTF/SavedVariable files that pertain to the addon unless it's a complete new build of the addon. I just have to go in and set up the UI for all my character now, all two full accounts worth on two different servers. Guess I know what I'll be doing for the next few hours...hehe

Just wanted to give an update so you won't need to try to find the problem. I reloaded my UI that used CTCore 3.3008 and it did have a tooltip problem also. As long as the tooltip was assigned to the mouse (where I always had it set), it displayed where it should, but once the anchor or standard option was chosen, the tooltip would display at the top center of the screen.
So I did have some savedvariable file data corruption/interference affecting the tooltip location even though I didn't know it prior to updating to CTCore version 3.309 because I always had the tooltip set to the mouse. Normally if I have a problem after updating addons, I do the standard load half, check, and load other half to try and isolate the problem. This time because the only ones I had updated where the CTMod ones and only the tooltip was affected , I "assumed" the problem was with the updated version since tooltip placement options had been changed/added. :)
Just wanted to let you know, Dargen so you wouldn't waste any more time troubleshooting a problem that was entirely on my end. I do thank you for your help in trying to find the problem.
