CT_UnitFrames Update (3.002)

Just a brief bug fix.

CT_UnitFrames (3.002)
- Fixes a problem introduced in 3.001 which prevented the Target frame and Target of Target frame from using the selected format for the values.

CT_UnitFrames Update

After a bit of playing with the initial relaunch of CT_UnitFrames, we found a few bugs or inconsistencies. Dargen was able to knock those bugs out and improve some displays to make the health and mana gains display at the new, faster rates.

Below is a detailed changelog of what went into the latest version:

CT_UnitFrames (3.001)
- Fixed a bug which could cause the Target of Target frame to appear even if it was disabled.
- No longer prevents you from showing the same value on, and to the right of, the player/party bars.
- You can now display values to the left of the Target and Target of Target frames.
- There are now separate settings for enemy health bars for the Target and Target of Target frames. When an enemy is targeted, the "Enemy Health Bar" settings are used instead of the "On Health Bar" ones.
- Added a setting to enable/disable the casting bar for the Target of Target frame.
- Adjusted the update frequency of the mana bar text to match Blizzard's.

CT_Core (3.003)
- Added a button to reset the position of the quest tracker anchor.
- Added a button to reset the position of the tooltip anchor.

CT_UnitFrames Returns (and some bug fixes)

Due to popular demand, Dargen was able to get CT_UnitFrames updated and working for the 3.0 patch (and it should be forward compatible for WotLK). I was able to test it out on both live and beta realms and things seemed to be working well, but we will continue to monitor it for the next few days to make sure the kinks are worked out.

In addition, some bug fixes were made in CT_BarMod, CT_BuffMod, CT_Core, and CT_MailMod. The details of those changes are listed below:

CT_BarMod (3.001)
- Disabling the "Display Cooldown Counts" option will now disable it on the game's default action bars as well.

CT_BuffMod (3.001)
- Right clicking on an aura will now cancel it. This includes mounts, but does not include shapeshift forms. Due to a change by Blizzard, cancelling a shapheshift form now requires a secure action button.
- Right clicking on a debuff no longer cancels a buff or aura.

CT_Core (3.002)
- Fixed an error which occured when the casting bar timers option was enabled.

CT_MailMod (3.001)
- Fixed a couple of bugs.
- Alt-Left click on an inventory item should now initiate a trade with the targeted person.

CT_UnitFrames (3.0)
- Updated to work with WoW 3.0.2.
- All frames now handle the death knight's runic power.
- Updated buff/debuff handling for the Target frame and the Target of Target frame.
- You can now right click the drag area of the Player, Target, and Traget of Target frames (when unlocked) to reset them to their default position.
- The Target of Target frame now has a raid target icon, a casting bar, and you can enable a small Target frame for it.

A brief update...

There's a bug with CT_MailMod and alt+clicking to initiate trade; which will hopefully be fixed today. Other than that, I haven't come across any bugs with the current versions.

Unrelated, I wanted to say that after several thousand messages/emails/posts asking about CT_UnitFrames, we're going to take a look at it and see if it's one we can update. I had thought Blizzard's functionality fully encased CT_UnitFrames now, but it seems they only let the status text be set for all frames, not individually, and a few other little quirks. Hopefully it will be an easy fix, and we can get it up. I'll post more when I know more.

3.001 Version Fixes

After testing everything out on live, we came across a few bugs. Thankfully, Dargen was able to knock them out quickly and new versions of the fixed mods are up.

CT_BottomBar (3.001)
CT_Core (3.001)
CT_Timer (3.001)
CT_ExpenseHistory (3.0)

The only thing wrong with CT_ExpenseHistory was that it had two version numbers in the .toc file, and the game was displaying the 2.41 version number in the CT Control panel. The old version number line was removed from the .toc file.

CT_BottomBar
- Now displays the Achievements and PVP buttons on the Menu Bar.
- The problem with unusable buttons after zoning should now be fixed.
- The Action Bar arrows are now movable.

CT_Timer
- Left clicking the timer no longer causes an error.

CT_Core
- Fixed a problem with timestamps only appearing in one chat frame.

CTMod - 3.0

With the long awaited 3.0 patch, some code changes had to be made to ensure mods so many people have used for so many years remained up and running. In light of that, I would like to send a huge thank you to Dargen, another mod author who spent time working on getting CTMod up to speed. CTMod is the longest running mod or compilation still around today, having begun in the Alpha phase of the original 'classic' game, and with several hundred thousand users in the US alone, I'm very happy to be able to provide you all with an updated version for the 3.0 Wrath of the Lich King preparation patch.

For those of you who don't know Dargen, or just want to see some other mods he's developed, you can visit his portal at WoWInterface linked below. I have full confidence in his coding ability, and applaud his professionalism and quality of both coding and notes.
